Computer gaming as a real job?

E-sport has taken off around in the world. In the US, professional gamers now draw crowds, much like pop stars. In Germany, gamers have also started banding together in professional associations called clans. They compete in tournaments for prizes totaling millions of euros.

One of the most popular games internationally is the strategy game League of Legends. But only a select few amateurs make it into the pro leagues. One is Kaiserslauten native Christoph Seitz, aka "nRated”. The 23-year-old gamer recently joined the pro team SK Gaming. The five-member team just won the League of Legends championships in Berlin. Now they’ve got their sights set on the world championships this fall.
