Scientists at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence are working to develop the computer of the future. The computers of tomorrow will need to be perceptive, since they will help us in many aspects of daily life.

They'll include everything from talking wine bottles that provide information to shoppers to intelligent autopilots. Behind the scenes, huge computer centers will process an enormous amount of data for devices that will keep getting smaller and smaller - like smart phones that may one day display movies in 3D. Other ideas include quantum computers and DNA computers-but for now, there's no telling exactly what the future of artificial intelligence will hold.
