The World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) is facing allegations of human rights violations in Asia and Africa. Deutsche Welle has inquired whether any of the projects "Global Ideas" has reported on were affected by the allegations. WWF Germany stated: "The allegations we have received relate to projects in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Central African Republic, Cameroon, Nepal, and India." WWF says it is investigating the allegations and expects the first interim report into the issue in April 2019.
