US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and her British counterpart David Miliband have paid a surprise visit to Afghanistan. They met NATO troops in the southern province of Kandahar who are fighting against Taliban insurgents. Meanwhile, the Brussels-based think-tank, International Crisis Group, has urged the international community to resolve their differences and come up with a better coordinated strategy for the country.
