Varoufakis accuses Klaus Regling, the head of Europe’s financial rescue fund (ESM), of “being economical with the truth”. The eurozone’s ministers of finance “lacked sophistication”, says Varoufakis. “There was never any serious discussion about economics or macroeconomics in the Eurogroup.”
Tim Sebastian will invite national and international decision-makers to his weekly DW show. Sebastian has a world-wide reputation for his tough interviewing style, first featured on the BBC program “HardTalk”. At Deutsche Welle, he has also been the presenter of “The New Arab Debates“.
