The White House is undergoing a major renovation: President Donald Trump is building a $250-million ballroom, claiming it's long overdue.

Funded by private donors, including YouTube, Lockheed Martin and tech firms, the project has raised questions about transparency and influence. While Trump has said taxpayers won't pay a cent, critics argue the money could be better spent elsewhere.

The ballroom is expected to be completed before his term ends in 2029.
