Industry meets music

The Ruhr valley in western Germany was the country's industrial heartland until the 1980s. That's when the coal and steel industries began to decline. The area then became an industrial wasteland, but enterprising people began to use it as a backdrop for cultural events. We now visit the state of Saarland where an old industrial landscape there has become the setting for a huge techno festival.
