The United States has announced the purchase of 100 million more doses of the BioNTech-Pfizer vaccine. The US has moved faster than many countries in certifying vaccines, giving the green light to two so far. Phil Gayle spoke about the vaccines and their intricacies with Dr. Ofer Levy, the director of the Precision Vaccines Program at Boston Children's Hospital.

He's also a member of the advisory panel that recommended the US Food & Drug Administration approve the two vaccines.
