Council of Europe seeks reparations for all Ukraine victims

A reparations body for Ukraine was established in The Hague today. The required funding will come from different sources, the secretary-general of the Council of Europe, Alain Berset, told DW in an interview.

The "International Claims Commission for Ukraine" launched in The Hague will assess the damage caused by Russia in Ukraine and determine compensation. The effort will be co-ordinated by the Council of Europe, the pan-European human rights body.
