Court finds 21 guilty of Madrid bombings - je 31.10.2007 18

A Spanish court has convicted 21 people of involvement in the 2004 Madrid train bombings. But it acquitted the man accused of helping mastermind the Al Qaeda-inspired attack.Many survivors and families who lost members gathered at the courthouse for the reading of the verdict; some expressed disappointment at the sentences. 191 people were killed and almost 2000 injured in the bombings of four commuter trains.
