Covering Controversy at the Frankfurt Book Fair

There was a lot of controversy before the Frankfurt Book Fair. The Chinese authorities were criticised for trying to prevent dissident views from being voiced, by by refusing certain authors exit visas, for example.

Such issues provide the content for an innovative website project, which the German daily “Die Tageszeitung” is running during the fair. German and Chinese journalists have joined hands to cover the events for the German public.
