As the year 2020 ends and the pandemic rages, many governments are tightening rules. Are citizens paying for politicians' prior errors? Guests: Julia Fischer (science journalist), Derek Scally (The Irish Times), Matthew Karnitschnig (Politico)

Derek Scally, Correspondent with The Irish Times. He thinks: "Ireland did it right in the second wave: after a six-week lockdown the Irish are looking forward to a relatively relaxed Christmas and New Year."
