While Germany surges ahead, Ireland exits financial rehab and Spain and Portugal follow closely behind, Italy remains mired in economic struggles. The Eurozone's third largest economy is still in recession and much needed reforms are nowhere in sight. Even the wealthy provinces of northern Italy have been hit by the ongoing crisis.
