More and more creative types and small business people are going online with their ideas. Over crowd financing platforms, they find investors willing to make small contributions, which help these entrepreneurs realize their big plans. Crowdfunding is mainly known as a means of raising money for artistic projects. It's been used successfully by the producers of the film "Iron Sky" and rappers like Public Enemy.
