Cuban leader Fidel Castro is stepping down. In a written statement, he said Tuesday that he will not seek a new presidential term when the National Assembly meets on Feb. 24. The Assembly is expected to nominate his brother and designated successor Raul Castro, 76, as president. Castro held the title of commander in chief for nearly fifty years, after he seized power in an armed revolution. But +++SYN++++
