People have been shopping from home for decades. Kisura is a Berlin start-up that is filling a gap in the market - by offering personal consultancy services with the help of fashion stylists.

Kisura was launched in May 2013 as the first platform of its kind in Europe. It is geared toward female shoppers, and puts them in contact with personal fashion advisors via video chat or the phone. Customers are then sent a personalized selection of clothes. The service itself together with all shipping is free of charge. While shoppers pay the regular retail price, Kisura gets a cut of the profit. Germany’s Zalando is among the mail order firms planning to offer the service.
