Daimler in South Africa – Employer for the last three generations

The Daimler factory in East London, South Africa was founded in 1958. It’s the biggest employer in the city, with a staff of almost 2,500. The factory has left its stamp on the town and its people.

MADE IN GERMANY accompanies a family that has worked for Daimler for three generations and owes its growing affluence to the plant.
