DaimlerChrysler will face a U.S. court on charges of that it cheated its shareholders. The German-American automaker lost its bid last week to have the case thrown out. The lawsuit is being pushed by Kirk Kerkorian, who was one Chrysler's largest shareholders. Kerkorian claims Daimler misled shareholders by saying the merger of the two companies was a marriage of equals. He alleges Daimler planned all along to takeover troubled Chrysler, and should have paid more. DaimlerChrysler has called the charge "baseless."
