Architect Amelie Rost and her partner won the right to own a houseboat in this northern German city. It then took a year-and-a-half for the home to be finally ready. It consists of two stories, has a terrace that measures 80 square meters, and the houseboat boasts 110 square meters of living space. And yet the couple are still just a quick jaunt away from downtown.
