Deluxe: An Industrial Building in Berlin

Stefan Kahlfeldt’s home is an example of industrial heritage. In 2007 he purchased a red-brick electrical transformer substation that produced electricity for Berlin’s trams until 1960 and then stood empty. With an impressive amount of money and work he was able to turn it into a Bauhaus-style home that blends perfectly into its elegant surroundings.
