Demining Operation in Laos: The Cruel Legacy of the Vietnam War

Laos is a scarred country- one that has still not recovered from the effects of a war that was not its own. 30 years ago, at the height of the Vietnam War, the USA dropped innumerable bombs over the country, leading to the death of more than a million people. Several of these bombs have still not exploded, and pose a major source of danger to the inhabitants.
