Deutsche Bank extends contract with CEO Ackermann

Back in the black! Germany's largest bank, Deutsche Bank, has posted a bumper profit for the first quarter. One-point-two billion euros. The earnings are a surprise. Deutsche Bank saying the credit market is beginning to thaw, which allowed the bank to make more money on debt trading. CEO Josef Ackermann is being rewarded for the strong numbers. His contract has been extended.
