It's been a rough start to the new year for the German banking sector - with Germany's biggest financial institution, Deutsche Bank, expecting record losses in the final quarter of 2008. Investors are shocked, and the bank's shares plummeted by 9- percent. Deutsche Bank's losses have led to a RE-negotiation of the bank's takeover of its rival, Postbank.
