DHL to Expand in China

Express delivery firm DHL plans to invest $200 million (€170 million) in its business in China in the next five years. The Deutsche Post subsidiary will use the money mainly to expand the logistics firm DHL-Sinotrans, a 50/50 joint venture between DHL and China, spokespeople for DHL and Deutsche Post said. DHL-Sinotrans was established in 1986 to make international express deliveries to China's major cities. The company says it holds 37 percent of the national market share.
