Russia wants closer cooperation with Europe, especially on trade and security issues. That was the core message from the country's new President -- Dimitry Medvedev --, who was here in Berlin on Thursday, on his first visit to Europe since taking up office a month ago. But the Russian leader also expressed concerns about NATO's eastward enlargement.
