Based on the Diversity Toolkit which the EU Fundamental Rights Agency has developed in cooperation with the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), a diversity workshop for TV, radio, online and print media journalists and trainers will be held to strengthen journalism professionals’ diversity competences.

Participants will be equipped with skills to investigate on factual background information, avoiding the reproduction of stereotypes when reporting on diversity. The toolkit contains a wealth of information on how to promote the principles of cultural diversity in broadcast organizations and TV programming. It brings together practical elements (checklists, references) and good practice advice that can be used, applied and learned from.
