Rebels in the Democratic Republic of Congo have declared a unilateral ceasefire after nearly 3,000 people have been killed and hundreds of thousands forced to flee as a result of the current fighting. Meanwhile, Congolese activists in Europe are accusing the EU of inaction and indirectly fueling the conflict.
