DW goes inside Arctic Sentry, NATO's new mission in the High North, as the alliance steps up drills amid rising tensions with Russia. A DW exclusive.

NATO is stepping up its military presence in northern Norway as Russia expands activity across the Arctic. President Donald Trump has made it clear the US has major strategic interests in the region too, namely its bid for Greenland. From air patrols to submarine surveillance, the alliance is increasing readiness in the High North. The military drills aim to deter potential threats and reassure allies amid rising geopolitical tensions in the region. DW reports on the ground.
