The construction sector in Germany has a shortage of skilled workers, especially in the largely rural state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Businesses there have started making particularly attractive offers to recruit staff. Building site foreman Sebastian Ribbeck from Schwerin is among those won over by the incentives.
