The outlook at Deutsche Telekom - Germany's largest telecommunications company - isn't good. The company's current CEO, Rene Obermann, was brought in in November 2006 to turn around the formerly state-run giant. Obermann was considered the prototype of a new breed of young, aggressive, dynamic business managers. But he's found it harder to make his personal mark on Telekom than initially anticipated.
