Rosy Cuc Tuiz has entered a whole new world that’s off limits to many indigenous girls in Guatemala. It’s thanks to a scholarship from the MAIA Impact School.

In the highlands of Guatemala, at the MAIA Impact School, indigenous girls like Rosy are defying expectations—gaining access to quality education, mastering technology, and envisioning futures once deemed impossible. With support from mentors and families, these young women are breaking cycles of poverty and illiteracy, and daring to dream of leadership, careers, and change. This is the story of resilience, empowerment, and the transformative power of education.
