Three elderly nuns — Sisters Bernadette, Rita and Regina — have returned to Schloss Goldenstein monastery near Salzburg after being moved to a retirement home against their will. Claiming lifelong residence rights, they were supported by allies who restored utilities and offered legal aid. The church says their return violates vows and that prior renovation plans were rejected. The nuns are determined to stay.
