In 1960, the Empi company - a manufacturer of custom and spare parts in Riverside, California - built a dune buggy based on the VW Beetle. The "Imp" came in two versions: as a kit car, and as a pre-assembled vehicle. Drive it! tested the dune buggy on winding roads in the Alps. To this day, the little buggy is still a barrel of fun.
