Energy Revolution - The Pricey and Problematic Transition to Renewables

The German government has set itself high goals when it comes to making the switch to renewable energies: The aim is for 80% of Germany's power to come from the sun, wind, biomass or water by 2050. By then the country's nuclear power plants should have been phased out completely. However the transition to renewables is proving to be more difficult and far more costly than originally thought.
