Being a woman in one of northern Nigeria's internally displaced person camps is far from easy. Women and girls in the region are in need of protection against gender-based and sexual violence. A 23-year-old journalism student, Aishatu Kabu Damboa, founded her own NGO which offers education and support to the women.
