EU leaders agree a new deal to help save the euro

EU leaders have reached a new deal aimed at solving the region's sovereign debt crisis. Under the agreement banks will accept a 50 percent write-off of their returns on Greek debt and the European rescue facility will be made stronger through leveraging.
