EU leaders meet in Brussels today in a bid to present a united front to the global economic crisis

Leaders from Europe's 27 member states are meeting in Brussels today to coordinate their responses to the global economic crisis. Ahead of the summit - German Chancellor Angela Merkel said intensive work was underway to come up with new ways to regulate international financial markets.
