As the US ramps up pressure on Venezuela, Europe has yet to come up with a coherent policy on the growing conflict.

The US has offered a $50 million reward for information leading to the arrest of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, accusing him of trafficking drug and arms. Washington has boosted its military presence in the Caribbean, fueling fears of war.

Experts warn of a potential regional crisis and have urged Europe, especially Spain, to push for diplomacy. Venezuela, home to the world's largest oil reserves, remains at the center of global attention.
