EU Sends Aid to Myanmar

The European Union has sent a top aid official to Myanmar. Louis Michel said the aim of his visit was purely humanitarian. His trip follows emergency talks in Brussels, where EU development ministers called on the military junta to give international aid experts free access to an estimated 1.5 million survivors of Cyclone Nargis.
