The EU Commission has published a strategy paper on the future of nuclear power in the 28-member bloc. According to the document, the EU has no intention of completely phasing out this source of energy -- contrary to plans by indivdual member states such as Germany. Instead, the Commission intends to strengthen its technological dominance in the nuclear sector.
