Reykjavik is one of Europe's youngest capital cities - it wasn't founded until 1786.

The Church of Hallgrímur is Iceland's biggest church.

Iceland's main city Reykjavik is Europe's northernmost capital. Even though it doesn't boast the type of climate that draws travelers to most islands, more and more visitors have been coming to discover why residents say Reykjavik is a great place to live.
