Wildfires across Croatia, Britain, France and Greece have forced more evacuations and injured residents as a new heat wave grips the continent.

As Europe endures its fifth heat wave of the summer, wildfires are spreading across several countries.

In Croatia, fast-moving flames near the coastal town of Omis injured dozens of people and forced hundreds to evacuate.

Firefighters in Britain battled multiple blazes, including one in Stourbridge that damaged homes and sent a child and three firefighters to the hospital.

Fires also broke out in France's Brittany region and northern Greece, highlighting the growing risks posed by extreme heat and climate change.
