Between 2015 and 2017, a series of brutal Islamic State attacks struck Europe, targeting civilians. DW looks back at the major IS attacks that claimed hundreds of lives and reshaped continent's sense of security.

France is marking the 10th anniversary of the Paris attacks, where coordinated Islamic State assaults, including the Bataclan concert hall, killed 130 people on November 13, 2015. It remains Europe's deadliest terror attack in peacetime.
