In the industrialized world, obesity is a growing problem among children and teens. Doctors say a big portion of the blame lies with the food industry, but it denies responsibility. Attempts at self-regulation haven't proven very successful. Even in schools and sports clubs, children are subjected to advertising for sweets. Now consumer advocates are demanding binding legislation.
