Dutch artist Thijme Termaat has captured the creation of his picture series "iPaint" on video, with the aid of stop-motion time and lapse photography, and in doing so presents a portrait of himself as well. The result is breathtaking.

Viewers see his photorealist paintings emerging from the blank canvas within seconds. His video "iPaint" has already had more than 900,000 hits on YouTube.
