The European Central Bank has raised its key interest rates by 25 basis points to 1 and a half percent. It's the second hike this year --and was widely expected to help cool inflation in the Eurozone. And the ECB has responded to Moody's slashing of its rating on Portugal to junk status. At a press conference, ECB president Jean-Claude Trichet said the bank would accept Portuguese debt regardless of its rating.
