Women in top-management positions are still few and far between in Germany. Now, German Labour Minister Ursula von der Leyen is proposing a 30 percent quota for women on the executive and supervisory boards of major corporations. And the EU Commission is also calling for a quota for women executives across the Union - if companies fail to get there on their own.
