Uwe Becker is chaplain to German military personnel and their families in the United States. He served previously in the Franco-German Brigade and in Afghanistan. He is stationed in Reston, on the outskirts of Washington D.C. There he takes care of military staff - from the air force squadron to the military attaché. In the absence of German parishes in the United States, he also performs christenings and weddings, and gives confirmation classes. In this report we accompany the pastor on his travels across North America and on his visits to military families.
