European Union administrators have been holding talks in Brussels with members of the Roma and Sinti communities who've expressed concern about a growing number of new laws they're calling highly discriminatory - especially Italy's plan to fingerprint them. There are around 10 million Roma and Sinti living in Europe, mostly in Hungary, Romania and Slovakia. E-U Commission president Jose Manuel Barroso has called on member states to do more to open their societies to them.
