First Group of Maoist Child Soldiers Discharged

In Nepal, the first group of former child soldiers was discharged from the Maoist army cantonments on Thursday. They are part of over 4,000 young people who are to return home to their families over the next 40 days. They fought in the country's civil war and then lived in UN-supervised camps after it ended in 2006.
